Hi there! I'm Lou, and let me tell you, I'm not your average wedding photographer. I started as a press photographer, where every moment was a whirlwind and every second counted capturing stories for newspapers, and when I transitioned into wedding photography, I discovered something beautiful – it's all about love, community, and creating unforgettable memories capturing love stories.
I'm all about ditching the rulebook and helping you create a wedding that screams YOU. I mean, I walked down the aisle in red, so trust me, I'm all for doing things differently! And let's face it, finding the perfect photographer can be like finding a needle in a haystack. I lucked out with three incredible photographer pals at my own wedding, but not everyone has those connections.

A bit of both. I love being both interactive and discreet throughout the wedding day. There will be parts of the wedding day when I will need to be in control in order to accomplish everything that needs to be done while staying on schedule. There will also be moments when you shouldn’t even know that I’m there. (The ceremony, candid interactions with guests, etc.) I also gently guide my couples on how to pose, so you feel comfortable and natural.

My Cherish Signature Collection covers the most important elements of your wedding, which I call my 3C’s - Celebrate, Connection, Cherish. This is generally 3 hours. You have the option of adding additional time, depending on your own unique preferences for your wedding day. You’ll be able to see a timeline of what I can offer when you enquire. You’ll be surprised how much I can cover. Elopement packages are 2 hours.

I deliver 80-100 images per hour that I’m shooting. This number can vary in number due to your own unique circumstances. I love delivering my couple’s files quickly and easily via an online gallery. You will have the ability to print, share, and download your images as much as you want. I believe in freely sharing my work because that is what I would want if I were in your shoes! You will receive a sneak peek within 72 hours of your wedding via Instagram and your whole gallery within 4 weeks.

That depends. I always design your album shortly after your wedding, so your story is fresh in my mind. Your album will be beautifully curated to showcase your wedding day story, so you can relive your day. A Cherish Album is 12x 8 inch and 20 pages. You have the option to upgrade the album size and page quantity if you wish.

My Cherish Signature Collection is an all-inclusive package, that includes 3 hours photography coverage, all the edited images on your own online gallery, and a stunning 12x8 inch 20-page album. This package is designed for couples desiring the best for their wedding day.

A lot of my couples lead busy lives and are from out of town, so it makes it difficult to find the time to book this in before their big day. That’s why I have it as an optional extra.

Engagements shoots are great for many things, such as your ‘Save The Dates’, new social media profile photos, gifts for your parents, prints for your home or even a guest book at your wedding. Engagement photoshoots are perfect for couples who feel awkward or nervous in front of the camera. I guide my couples on how to pose and interact during the shoot and break down those barriers so on your wedding day you’ll be a pro in front of the camera and don’t need quite as much instruction from me. It’s also leads into the perfect date night.

That’s easy! In order to book and secure your wedding date with me, you have 2 options once you send me your initial enquiry via my contact form.
1. You’ll book a meeting with me so I can answer any questions you may have.
2. If you’ve decided that my Wedding Photography Experience is exactly what you’re looking for on your wedding day, and I’m available on your date, the next step is to accept my booking proposal, sign the contract and pay the $500 non-refundable booking fee.
I tend to book out 6-12 months in advance, so please check with me if I have your date is available, otherwise I can refer you to some other amazing local photographers. I can’t wait to hear from you & hear about your love story & wedding plans. Easy peasy!
