Hi, I'm Lou!
Long before digital cameras and social media. I learnt photography as a cadet press photographer, hand rolling black and white film, developing photographs in the darkroom and shooting with completely manual cameras.
Those years taught me to think quickly, connect with people and never miss the moments that matter.
Today, the camera feels like an extension of me, allowing me to focus on what matters most... the people in front of it.
I've seen photography evolve from hand-rolled black and white film to today's digital world, but one thing has never changed... photographs become more valuable as time passes.
This photograph reminds me why weddings matter.
Because the best weddings are the ones that feel like you.
My husband and I had a relaxed backyard wedding and yes... I wore a red wedding dress!
It wasn't traditional, but it was perfect for us.
That's why I believe there are no rules when it comes to your wedding. It's your day, your story and your memories.
My job is to help you feel relaxed enough to enjoy every moment while I capture it all, naturally.

Our twins were just three years old, and every time I look at it, I'm taken straight back to that season of our lives.
