The Sunshine Coast is one of Australia’s top wedding destinations. With stunning beaches that stretch from Caloundra to Noosa. Choosing a beautiful beach wedding on the Sunshine Coast is a great option for bridal couples and their guests.
Alana and Mark were married at Point Arkwright, just 25 minutes south of Noosa. It has amazing views down the Coast to Mooloolaba and straight out to the Pacific Ocean.
This rustic timber arbor was adorned with the most incredible floral arrangement by Ginger Lily and Rose. I just loved the use of native Australia flowers and the pop of orange that stood out against the brillant blue sky.
Weddings can be very hot all year round on the Coast, so it's always good to have a water station for your guests. You don;t want them passing out during the ceremony!
I love it when couples include their furbabies in their weddings. Alana and Mark had their family dog Tonka deliver the rings during the ceremony. I think Tonka was keen to get to the beach as soon as it was all over.
In keeping with the laid-back beach theme, the bride arrived with her Dad and bridesmaids in this awesome retro Kombi by Old Skool Kombis Noosa.

Some tips I think worth taking note of, is the ease of having professional decorators to style and set up and pull down the ceremony. It's such a big job and it can be tiresome and stressful. Cloud Nine Weddings up this ceremony.
Another thing to keep in mind when planning a wedding outdoors in full sun, is to make sure the guests have the sun behind them, that way they are sure to see the whole ceremony without squinting.
Marriage celebrant Kath Tilly performed a fun, light-hearted ceremony that suited Alana and Mark to a tee. She told a lovely story of how they met, weaving in so much joy.

This is one of my favourite parts of the ceremony, the recession. I always encourage my bridal couples to have flower petals or bubbles, or both are amazing! The guests love it! My bridal couples love it! It's such a fun thing it adds to the festive vibe of your wedding.

A group photo is a must! It's great to get everyone together for a fun group photo, and they make fantastic thank you cards as well.
When choosing your beach wedding transport, you can't go wrong with a Kombi, they're classic. The Tiffany blue of this Old Skool Kombi is one of my favs, and I just love the little hula girl on the dashboard.
For all the cars lovers out their, here's some details you might like: The classic 13 window 1966 Splitty was fully restored 3 years ago. It has a new 1915cc twin port engine was added more recently and is more then capable of carrying up to 8 passengers plus the driver.
Point Arkwright offers some great locations for photos all within a small area. Just up from the Lookout is where we got these awesome shots with the kombi. I love that we could get glimpses of the ocean as well as including the natural bushland.
Pandanus trees are iconic to the Sunshine Coast landscape, you'll find them hugging boardwalks on the way to the beach, off headlands and dotted along the beach line.
These gorgeous bridesmaid outfits from Bec & Bridge were stunning on the girls. Alana did an amazing job styling both the bridesmaids and groomsmen for the wedding.
Just because it's a beach wedding, it doesn't mean the boys can't suit up. These stylish suits from Oxford were the perfect match to the girls, and added a touch of sophistication to their wedding.
To add a bit of fun to your beach wedding, these girls brought along a second pari of footwear, some cute white Havanas for down on the beach.
Sunset and twilight is one of my favourite times to shoot. The soft pastel colours are divine and so romantic.
